As we celebrate this Thanksgiving we would like to give thanks to our many customers who helped make this season a success. With the SHA guidelines that our customers and us followed, we were able to provide a safe environment to get out enjoy some fresh air and exercise. So from all of us at Rolling Pines Golf have a great Thanksgiving weekend and thanks once again.

No power carts out for rest of day! Too much rain!
Due to wet conditions, power carts are not permitted on the course for the remainder of today, Sunday July 19th.
Due to heavy rain and hail late yesterday afternoon, there will be no power carts allowed on the course this morning. We will decide at noon whether or not they will be permitted for the afternoon.
Starting today and running until August 15th, kids 15 and under golf free with a paying adult. One child per adult! For more details visit KidsGolfFree.ca

IT was actually a nice afternoon for the last day of golf! Happy Thanksgiving!
Congratulations to our 2019 Club Champions, pictures left to right are Patty Cavanaugh (Sr Ladies), Joanne Lahoda (Ladies), Dave Parkinson (Sr Men's) and Rob Althouse (Men's). What a beautiful day for golf and combining! Missed a few members who were harvesting, but great to see those combines running! Such a pretty time of year to golf, so get out and enjoy this nice weather while it's here!
Sorry, thought I had posted this already. For those that haven't registered, give us a call.
Rolling Pines Golf will be closed today, September 3rd, for on course maintenance. We will re-open tomorrow at 8:30 am. Sorry for any inconvenience.
We are having another Mixed Night, Thursday August 22nd! Looks like great weather. It will be a 5:30 shotgun start. There is no sponsor, but thought it would be fun for each golfer to bring a "re-cycled" prize donation. We will still do our regular challenges! Please register at 306-862-9600.
WOW! What a great way to end our Mixed Night's for the year. We had two terrific sponsors, Colin and Lana Irving from Irving Machine, and, Amy and Roger Shipley from Tobin Lake Leisure. And to top that it was a beautiful evening with 82 golfers out to enjoy it! We can't thank all of our great sponsors enough for their support through the summer. Congratulations to Kristin Harrower who was the winner of the 2020 punchcard. We wish all our farming friends a safe and prosperous harvest, some who have started already! Lots of events going on this weekend, so get out and enjoy them! Winter is coming.
A fun evening at our staff party last night. We can't say enough about this great crew that keeps Rolling Pines Golf in shape and running smoothly! left to right, Ken, Richard, Joanne, Kurtis, Trent, Dave, Dick, seated, Rayna and Rachel. Thanks to each and everyone of you from Larry and myself!
Congratulations to Jason Hoffman of Melfort who shot his first hole in one on hole #4, August 12th, 2019. Jason used his 8 iron for the 161 yd ace. Nice shot Jason! This was the 2nd ace in a week! Last night concluded our scheduled Men's Night's for the summer. Thanks to Pineland Co-op Ag for sponsoring. The 50/50 winner of $87.00 was Kris Korman, skins winner of the same amount were Richard Wiebe and Paul Lariviere. We also drew for the 2020 punchcard and the winner was Curtis Lockwood. Thank-you to Sheldon and Kim Kozak of S.K. Valley Services for sponsoring another fun Mixed Night! 74 out to enjoy the nice summer's evening, but as the sun goes down the cooler air reminds us that Fall is approaching. Monday Night's Men's sponsor is Pineland Co-op Ag and it is our last scheduled Men's Night. It is a 5:30 pm start. Next Thursday is also our last scheduled Mixed Night (where has the summer gone!). Our sponsors are Tobin Lake Leisure and Irving Machine. 5:30 start as well. Good luck to all the fishermen in the Premier's Cup this weekend and hope everyone has a great weekend!

Thank-you to Richardson Pioneer for sponsoring a fun Mixed Night last night, and to Shirley Cousins and Sheldon Rempel for representing them. The rain stayed away for a change, but we ended up with an inch and a half at 2am! It was great to have Aylsham's Greg Classen, and a 2019 SJHL Hall of Fame inductee, out last night. He's seen here, with family friend Leanne, dishing up some of The Dam Smokehouse's excellent pulled pork with slaw. Thanks Faron for the delicious supper! There is no Men's night this coming Monday but will resume on the 12th. Pineland Co-op Ag is the sponsor. Next Thursdays mixed night sponsor is S.K. Valley Services. We will now have 5:30 pm shotgun starts for Men's and Mixed. Have a safe and enjoyable long weekend!
Thank-you to Rusty Hook Convenience Store and Cabin Rentals at the Resort Village of Tobin Lake for sponsoring Men's Night last night. Great evening for golf! This weeks winner of the 50/50 was Dennis Yaremy who won $107.50. The progressive skins pot of $312.50 was won last night. The winners were Terry Youzwa and Lewis Robin who had the only skin on hole #1, when the ace was drawn from cards 1-9. There is no Men's on the August long Monday. Next scheduled is August 12th and it is Pineland Co-op Ag. This Thursday is sponsored by Richardson Pioneer and we are anxiously awaiting The Dam Smokehouse's supper plans. Whatever it is, it will be delicious!
Thank-you to Aylsham Agro for sponsoring Mixed Night last night! Mark, Nola, Chad, Amanda, Brett and Ren had a great bunch out for the somewhat soggy evening. Unfortunately most only got 6 holes in before the thunderstorm hit. When are we going to get some nice settled weather? It ended up being a fun evening just the same, and with 80 people how could it not be! We all got a kick out of the "mystery prize" which was won by a fellow who winters in Equador, and could put it to good use there! Monday Night's Men sponsor on July 29th is Rusty Hook Convenience Store and Cabin Rentals. Get your two man team registered for that night. Next Thursday's Mixed night is Richardson Pioneer and we are excited to announce that "The Dam Smokehouse" will be catering some of their delicious food for supper that night. Can't wait!
Thank-you to Kevin Verzonowski, Kevin's Custom Ag, for sponsoring Men's night last night. Representing Kevin was Trevor Snorro and from Cub Cadet, Rory Anderson. It was a perfect evening for the 47 golfers to enjoy! This weeks winner of the 50/50 was Landis Luck, he took home $117.50! There was no winner of the progressive skins this week, so there is a carryover of $215.00. Next week's sponsor is Rusty Hook Convenience Store and Cabin Rentals, a great new store at the Resort Village of Tobin Lake as well as 8 beautiful cabins. A few spots left for Mixed Night Thursday, Aylsham Agro is the sponsor. See you soon!
Thanks to the Shorebird Inn for sponsoring Mixed Night last night. The ribs and caesar salad were delicious! Mother Nature co-operated despite all the storm watches issued, and a fun crew of 50 people were out to enjoy a beautiful evening of golf! Monday Night's Men's sponsor is Kevin's Custom Ag, next Thursday's Mixed Night is Aylsham Agro. We enjoy watching the bluebirds around the course. They are starting on their second batch for the year. They seem to like the golf course habitat! Have a great weekend!
I apologize for being late on thanking Nipawin Chrysler Dodge for sponsoring Men's Night Monday night! It was an awesome evening and thanks to Ivan and his staff members for coming out. 50/50 winner was Dennis Kozun ($92.50) and the progressive skins was carried over. I think we have all had enough rain for awhille! Tomorrow night's Mixed night sponsor is the Shorebird Inn and we are hoping for sunshine!!!! A big thank-you to Pineland Co-op for sponsoring Mixed Night last night. Staff members representing them are Joel, Greg, Clinton and missing, Brad. A terrific showing of 72 out for the evening and wouldn't you know it the clouds opened up on everyone's first hole! Many were soaked to the bone, but with great Saskatchewan spirit they persevered to the end! Monday night's Men's sponsor is Nipawin Chrysler Dodge and Thursdays Mixed Night sponsor is Shorebird Inn. Shorebird ribs and caesar salad will be on the supper menu. Looks like great weather for the Hawks Walleye Fishing Tournament participants at Tobin Lake this weekend!
I guess we made the wrong decision to cancel men's night. It turned out to be a beautiful evening as experienced by the 10 that did come out and golf! One never knows what Mother Nature has in store for us and it wasn't looking good at 5:15, with thunder and lightning. Safety is our main concern and the decision was made to cancel. Next Monday nights sponsor is Nipawin Chrysler Dodge and this Thursday Mixed night is Pineland Co-op. See you soon!
As cute as these little Pewee's are, they are starting to make a mess on the clubhouse! Should be flying away soon.
A big thank-you to Diamond North Credit Union for sponsoring Mixed Night last night! They had a fantastic group of staff members out that joined in for our total of 83 golfers. Thanks also to Wild Bill's Pizza for the great service and pizza! A bit of a cooler evening and the consensus is that eveyone is waiting for some summer heat! Next weeks Mixed Night sponsor is Pineland Co-op. Monday night Men's sponsor is Nutrien Ag Solutions, Choiceland and Codette. Have a terrific weekend.
Hope everyone had a terrific Canada Day! It was great till about 5 ish! Then the storm rolled in! July 2nd starts our summer long promotion of "Kids Golf Free" A perfect time to introduce your child to the game of golf! There are no restrictions other than the child must be 15 or under. Well the weather co-operated last night, somewhat, just a small shower. Thanks again to Bunge for sponsoring Men's Night. The progressive skins last night was won by Bob Douglas and Gil Spanier. There was a birdie on every hole so we knew someone would win! They took home $105.00 as the 9 was drawn from cards 1-9. Monty Mercereau won the 50/50 of $60.00. This Thursdays Mixed night is Callaway. The next Men's night will be July 8th and Nutrien Ag Solutions Codette/Choiceland is the sponsor.
Phone the clubhouse at 306-862-9600 for more details.
Thanks to everyone that was out for Mixed Night last night. A few showers but nothing too serious. A reminder that Men's Monday night sponsor is Bunge, next Thursday is Callaway. Thanks also for everyone's patience with the highway upgrade. It will be awesome when it is complete! Have a great weekend, and hope it is a bit drier than predicted.

You can use our main access though, road may be a little soft. They are usually done for the evening by 7 pm or earlier.Use range road 2134, up 4 miles and turn right.
Rolling Pines will be closed at 4 pm today(June 18th) for on course maintenance. We will re-open at 8 am tomorrow morning.
Congratulations to our 2019 Fins n' Skins winners Jordan Geall and Matt Poulin. They pocketed $1000 cash with their net score of 4. Golf score of 33 - fish length of 29. A great week to get the course in shape for opening day Saturday April 27th at 11:00 am. Unfortunately the weather doesn't look ideal, but if you don't mind golfing with a toque and mitts, we will be open! The greens wintered well and the course greens up every day. Everything enjoys warmth and sunshine! We look forward to seeing you soon at Rolling Pines Golf.

A cold day for golfing, but good for cross country running! NESSAC runners are in everything from shorts, to toques and mitts. A bit of snow remains on the course. The weather does not look to promising up to our official closing day of October 8th. Depends on Mother Nature!
Congratulations to our 2018 Club Champions! Pictured left to right are Janet Esayenko(Ladies), Donna Parkinson(Sr Ladies), Wilbert Head(Men) and Don Sahli(Sr Men).

Lots of fun last night at our staff party, a fun time was had by all! We are so fortunate to have such a fantastic group of people working here. Thanks to Sheldon and Kim Kozak of S.K. Valley Services for sponsoring last nights warm Mixed night. A fantastic group of 75 golfers were out for the evening. Monday's sponsor is Pineland Co-op Ag and Thursday's will be Tobin Lake Leisure and Top Notch. Both will be 5:30 pm starts. Good luck to all the fishermen in the Premiere's Cup today and tomorrow.
