I hope everyone has a wonderful Canada Day, albeit a little different this year! The shop is closed until Thurday as I have booked some of my in-home clients for the beginning of this week. I have made it through a very long list of people to book in and ploughed through two weeks of appointments so far! I do have some availability next week (July 7th - 11th) fo...r those still looking to secure an appointment. I have loved seeing and talking to each and every one of you and the excitement everyone has when they come in is so heartwarming! You have all been so wonderful and I really can't thank you enough!

What a great first day back! The phone was ringing off the hook! I apologize if I missed you as I was too busy to answer but I will be checking the messages shortly and contacting everyone that was able to leave a message. Thank you all for being so patient with me!

ATTENTION As expected, your visit to the salon will look a little bit different than before. I want to assure everyone that I will be disinfecting between every client including equipment, chairs, surfaces, door handles inside and out, etc. If I have forgotten anything I will be sure to update you as needed. PLEASE WEAR A MASK WHEN ENTERING THE SHOP. I have hand sanitizer available as you walk in.... I have decided to implement a 10% COVID fee. I thought about this long and hard as this was a difficult decision. This is to help recover some of the extra costs for PPE, cleaning supplies and extra spacing needed for heightened disinfection. I decided to go with a fee rather than raising prices in hope that if/when everything goes back to normal, so can our prices. At this time I am only taking appointments and there will be no waiting area as per guidance from the Province. Please call the shop at 705-259-0082 and I will do my best to fit you in. The news you've all been waiting for has arrived! We are allowed to reopen on Friday! I have a HUGE list of people that either had appointments booked or have left their name and number on our answering machine. So over the next couple of days I will be booking everyone on that list first which means I will be operating by appointment only for the time being. Hello to all my wonderful clients out there, it’s Lauren here as most of you know I was pregnant with our first baby. We had a healthy baby girl on February 28 th just dodging leap year by 8 hours, after a very long 3 days in labour. She weighed in at a petite 6 lbs 14 ounces and was 20 inches long. Her name is Amelia Rose Bouhs. We safely left the hospital just a week before the chaos began with Covid. Thank you for all the beautiful gifts and hand me down clothing. It was all very appreciated. I miss you all and look forward to seeing your beautiful faces again soon.

I just wanted to let you all know that I am missing all of you so much!! As most of you know, I began a call back list in March when we all closed and everyone that had already booked an appointment was automatically added as well as anyone that called the shop to leave me their name and number. If you want to be added to this list please call 705-259-0082 and leave your name and number. I check the voicemail every few days. It's still very unclear as to when I can open but ...when I do, I will let you know what changes may have to be implemented for the time being. I anticipate being required to operate by appointment only for the first couple of weeks, if not months but I will work my hardest to accommodate everyone. I have always been very meticulous with my cleaning regime but I want to assure you all that I will continue to step up all disinfection practices regardless of how busy it may get. Well, as things continue to develop, I feel I cannot stay open by appointment any longer. Pretty well all of my close family have a compromised immunity and I can't take the chance for their safety as well as everyone else. Hair can wait. I appreciate everyone's understanding and patience. I'll see you all when things get better! Stay safe and healthy my friends! After some very careful thought, I have decided to stay OPEN for the time being, however I will be taking clients by appointment ONLY. This will ensure I can space everyone out so I have time to properly disinfect/sanitize the shop before the next client comes in as well as preventing several people waiting at once. If you are feeling unwell or have travelled outside of Canada in the last 30 days, please refrain from coming into the shop in the next couple of weeks. Leave it to me to forget our 8 year anniversary lol!! I would like to take a moment to thank our awesome clients/friends for supporting our little slice of heaven tucked into the alley in beautiful Downtown Orillia for 8 years! Lauren and I love seeing and chatting with each and every one of you and look forward to seeing what the next 8 years bring. Happy 8th anniversary to us!

As most of you know, Lauren will be starting her maternity leave next week so I have decided to close on Monday's to give myself a little bit of a break for the next couple of months. Today will be my last Monday open until June 1st, when I will return to our usual 6 day a week schedule for the summer. To all my beautiful and valued customers the time has come that I have 4 more weeks left before I start my maternity leave for 1 year.
