In hot / humid weather you should keep your basement between 30% - 50% RH, no higher. Some homes require one or more dehumidifiers to achieve that level. Also, if you have a furnace humidifier make sure it is on the "Summer" setting. I was at a home that was still on the winter setting and water was running down the walls and windows. Great way to get mold happening and ruin the house.
