Tiger Woods, the newest member of the World Golf Hall of Fame. We have a few of his early 2000's Insert cards including this one from 2001 Upper Deck Golf. He is the 'Goat' with 15 Majors and 82 PGA TOUR victories. He revolutionized and grew the game of golf to epic proportions during his peak years of 1997-2007. The large purses on the PGA TOUR and even more importantly the millions of $$ raised for local charities through the PGA TOUR is a direct result of his dominance. ...He also broke down the colour barrier in golf making it a truly universal and inclusive sport. Congratulations to 3B Minnie Minoso for finally being voted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame. He was known as ''The Cuban Comet'' and played in the major leagues over 5 decades. His career started in 1947 with the New York Cubans of the Negro Leagues where they won the Negro League World Series that same year. He made his first appearance in MLB with the Cleveland Indians in 1949. The 9x All-Star would appear in his final game as a player/coach in 1980 for the Chicag...o White Sox to allow him the distinction of having played in 5 different decades. He was the first black player in White Sox history and was an All-Star in 1951 as a Rookie. This 1977 O-Pee-Chee Baseball Record Breaker Card highlights Minoso becoming the oldest player in history to get a hit in an MLB game. We're posting higher grade along with mid to low grade cards of this set to accommodate all our collectors. Finding cards nicely centered in this set is quite tough, but, the eye appeal of most cards is remarkable and this is one of the first sets to implement action shots into the majority of the cards. Hall of Famer cards hold a little more value than the normal star and we have many available in our Hall of Famer category.
