Hope you enjoyed that full moon last night! I was so lucky to have spent it with my wonderfully serene cousin and her precious, gentle and curious 10 month old baby girl . We spent the day walking in nature with the trees and the river, observing crystals sensations of healthy foods, bouncing, bathing, crawling and stretching on the floor and observing all the things we can so easily overlook in our day to day experience. ... We talked about our lives growing together through all of our phases and played awareness and meditation games exploring ideas of if my life was a book what would I call it? What chapter would this be named? And, What lessons have I learned instead of what mistakes have I made? We laughed at our books and the different stages we find our selves in. It’s such a blessing to have a cherished human being to reflect with and to remind eachother of things long forgot along your timeline together. It’s also a truly magical blessing to share in moments like when she and baby laid down with me on the couch after we all took an afternoon nap! They woke me to snuggle, play peekaboo and giggle . Just us three sirens in the warm cozy safety of our hearts These blessings fill my cup so much so that it is overflowing with the water of life. Refreshing... any stagnant areas... as the moon directs the tides. Happy full moon

Do you notice anything changing around you? When we make little changes to our perspective or whatever your aims may be, we all have our own personal tools of measure that gauge how successful we are. May you find the increments on your personal measuring stick teeny-tiny, for it’s in the teeny-tiny movements that we gain greater strides. ... Not observing and appreciating the teeny-tiny movements along the way means we risk missing out on al the wonder and magic granted to us on the journey we find ourselves on. Our perspective reveals to us wether today is a good day or a bad day. How is that for perspective? Hope your day is a beautiful one

In moments you find yourself feeling anxious please be gentle not only to yourself but do your best to include others who care about and support you. They may be feeling anxious too and doing their best to pull through in the best way they know how to. Anxiety and depression of course are debilitating, often requiring much attention to self. Balance is something to just keep in mind as we navigate that. I know that when I fight my own battles and practice self compassio...n I can’t completely heal myself while knowing that I haven’t checked in on loved ones around me. We are all in this together. We live in a society that is saying self first but I don’t neccissarily always agree with this messaging. We can take care of ourselves and also be mindful of others. Our energy affects one another. If we hurt someone we also hurt ourselves. Victimizing ourselves is also dangerous. Tread Softely. Just keep balance in mind best we can, try and try again to extend compassion to ourselves as well as one another. While we dance this dance, pray for peace among us.

What a perfect way to share energy and good vibes Giving always feels good. I’ll be doing this for sure! Everyone is different of course so you may or may not relate to this. I’m someone who only gets exactly what I need so my grocery lists are pretty precise. I’ve come to learn over the years that I do not want any extras in my space or I actually get overwhelmed... (packing suitcases is another story ). My brain likes clear and simple so the less stimuli I allow, the m...ore effective I am at spending my energy on what counts. It’s a form of self care for me. With groceries, I think to myself, what a shame to waste an animal or a plant product. I actually feel bad about that as I had learned from my grandparents how to use everything. When I get only what I can use, things don’t often go bad then I don’t feel bad about it, or pressured to eat things before they spoil and I myself don’t feel spoiled for having more than what I need and can use. I believe it’s a mindful practice on the positive as well as a bit of a psychosis on the less positive side and I’m mindful of this also. I don’t need to get carried away controlling cause that’s not useful either . I mean, I really really dislike seeing anything extra coming into my space unless it’s new yoga tights or onepiece cozy’s . Buying isn’t going to fill my needs, more is never gonna make me feel better, it actually makes me feel worse. How much do we really need anyway? I’m thankful to have the things I need and can use.... and when the opportunity presents to pick up more than I need, than I want to share that as part of my practice. Maybe it’s something you like too?!
