Important Message Given the crazy snow fall and the schools closing tomorrow, we have elected to call a snow day to keep all staff and children safe. Please let us know if this puts you in a predicament for care.
We ate snakes, ghosts, and jack-o-lanterns for snack
We love to expose the kids to flowers, vegetables and insect pollinators. Such beautiful things to learn from.
We went for a walk. Heather picked out many flowers. We asked for yellow, orange, red and blue ones. We went to the park while Heather was busy at the Green House. Then we walked back together with a wagon full of flowers.
We have watched our caterpillar become chrysalis and then escape them to be beautiful Painted Lady Butterflies. This morning we got to watch them fly up into the sky.
The childcare centre my daughter attends is run by trained professionals who understand child development. They help her to develop the foundations of prosoci...al behaviours, school readiness and the skills she will need to be a healthy and happy adult one day. Childcare provides me with time to work and better myself as an individual and mother. Malyssa Brown, parent Sign up to join the campaign and sign the petition at www.childcareisessential.ca! Social Distancing with preschoolers and toddlers at Walter Murray field.
A huge thank you to all early childhood educators! You give so much!
Please take the time to read.
One of my absolute favourite activities. The collaboration and communication they express is amazing.
Look at these smart kiddos using the book to recreate the story on the felt board Its awesome..they are actually discussing about how it should go and what comes next!! Really working together as a team
Celebrate those small milestones. They matter just as much as the big ones, if not more.
For all our families with kiddos planning on Kindergarten for the FALL
It is beneficial to look at another perspective when it comes to children. As educators it is our job to find the positive angle to focus on. It is amazing how when the adults who interact with a child have a positive focus the child often soon will too.
