What choices are you making each day that help add up to collective transformation? How are you doing your part, bit by bit? Image: @so_swooky . . [image descri...ption: quote by adrienne maree brown on a yellow background that reads, "How you are in THIS moment in history is really important & all of that small stuff really matters. All of the big things we are longing for are only made up of a lot of small, personal, radical choices."] . . #TheBodyIsNotAnApology #TBINAA #RadicalSelfLove #AdrienneMareeBrown See more
So many of us need these reminders right now. Let's treat ourselves more gently, we're in a global pandemic.
Take care of yourself.
Your pain is *real.* (Whether physical, psychological, spiritual, or otherwise). There is hope beyond pain. I’m sending you some. Some hope. I hope you can fee...l it from across these here interwebs. I hope you have less pain soon. Or (if the pain can’t be rid of) that you have accessible ways to manage the pain you have. I’m so glad you’re here. Your body matters. Your pain matters. Something you need heard? Let us know below See more
You've got this, friend. https://ericalayne.co/keep-returning-the-ball/
If we focus solely on nervous system regulation and self-healing, but don't acknowledge and work to change systemic oppression, we are missing a fundamental pie...ce of the puzzle. There are so many nervous system centered and trauma-informed practices that can feel soothing, validating, and supportive. That can help us feel regulated and resourced even within the systems and world we live in. But if you are struggling to feel resourced and regulated even with trauma-informed practices in your tool kit, it might feel validating to know that: -It is challenging to heal entirely on our own; humans are built for co-regulation -We are wired to adapt to our surroundings -The systems we live in impact our nervous system and physiology So by all means, let’s engage in more nervous system centered and trauma-informed practices. And, let’s work toward a world without oppression. Our systems need healing, too.

For anyone needing this reminder today.
And who you really are is beautiful.
In the research for my book about depression, Lost Connections, I was taught by scientists about 9 different causes of depression and anxiety. How many have you experienced? (I talk about the solutions in the book)
Another one that equally applies to both children and adults.
