Volk racing TE37’s brought back from the dead . These wheels had seen some serious track abuse which in turn called for extensive repairs . Bend repairs to all 4 wheels, one lip built back up with weld and machined back to its original shape, lots of gouges on the faces filled in and re shaped, lots of little dings and scuffs to be sanded out... . Fast wheels fixed of several bends and deep curb rash on all 4 wheels and refinished in a cherry red metallic

Work Emotion XT7’s refinished in matte bronze after several bend repairs (both inner and outter) curb rash repair and a very hefty few chunks missing from one outter lip

BBS RC wheels refinished in hyper grey with velvet black hex caps and a brand new locking tool purchased

Honda Civic / Integra type r wheels restored from championship white to a close keiser silver the plastic center caps were paint matched to the powder coat by Clearshot Customs Inc. And new H decals made by Lophatcustoms

A long post inbound ! - A set of American racing wheels for a 1967 Mustang Eleanor (a real one too!) . These wheels came in for a restoration despite just being done by another shop . The customer was dissatisfied with the over all final result and the condition of the wheels that he got back... . Here is the entire process start to finish and all of the before, during, afters and side by sides . The polished lips came back stained from chemical stripping and covered in glue residue, the grey colour was way off from what it was supposed to be, the center caps were not supposed to be coated and left polished, not to mention the Allen head locking bolt was coated directly over, outter barrel and back bead barely coated and covered in over spray, center bores inconsistently half masked off and fully coated, back pads on 2 wheels were taken to with a grinder to remove powder coat, the finish on the face was covered in fish eyes, orange peel and other contaminants, the masking lines between the lip and face were all jagged . Once the wheels went through stage 1 (chemical stripping) to remove all the old powder coat it was revealed that the wheels were still fully polished and not a single bit of prep had been done, no blasting, not even any scuffing with sand paper for proper adhesion for the powder coat . The lips were then carefully masked off (two layers of tape) creating a perfectly seamless line so the rest of the wheels could be media blasted. The center bore was plugged off from both the front and the back to preserve the machined finish, while in this state several blemished in the metal around the center caps were sanded smooth and various ones around the back of the bead and some spokes. . Once unmasked the back pads were then masked off, front center bore plugged off, lips then re masked again for powder coating . The wheels were then coated in a custom matte anthracite (close to the original colour for the Eleanor) and matte clear coated . After being coated the wheels and center caps were sent of to King of bling Originals to get mirror polished . And this is the end result ! See more

Nissan Altima SE-R wheels curb rash repaired, fixed of nicks and dings looked over by the previous refinishing shop, stripped of not only the old powder coat but of the factory finish it was put over, back pads and hub bore masked off for proper fitment and refinished in hyper grey with black lettering

Mclaren 650S wheels curb rash repaired and refinished. The customers main concerns were keeping all the stampings visible on the back side of the lips and being as close to the OEM colour as possible, but that isn’t an issue around here
