I was a guest lecturer at Algonquin College yesterday for Profession Adriana Melo. My topic was Five Top Tips for Trials. Very attentive and engaged group of students. Thank you, Professor Melo, for the invitation.

I am just back from Chairing the Drinking and Driving Panel at the annual Criminal Law Conference at Montebello. I was on the planning committee, on behalf of the County of Carleton Law Association. Next week I am lecturing to paralegals at their conference. My topics are Debtor Examinations and Contempt Hearings.

I am Chairing the drinking and driving panel at the Criminal Law Conference at Montebello tomorrow. This is a complex area of law, and we have an impressive panel with a judge, a Crown and Anna Brylewski, who used to practise in my office.
