On Christmas Eve, we want to take a moment and wish a very Merry Christmas to all of our Rose community who will be celebrating tomorrow. Merry Christmas!

You are invited to the Children’s Book Bank walk-up window. December 2 and 9th from 12 to 5 pm

Rose Ave school and daycare will be OPEN Monday as lockdown begins in Toronto. Please remember to sign Wellness passports, wear masks and stay home (on weekends and evening etc) as much as possible, to keep your family safe. We will continue to do all we can to ensure Rose Avenue is a safe spot for your children as we continue through this pandemic together. ... If we receive any directive to close and go to virtual, we will always send information to all families. Also, many will ask about the possibility of transferring to Virtual School. Happy Thanksgiving! We look forward to seeing you all on Tuesday. Check your emails for any reorganization information. Here are some tips to keep you and your family safe this long weekend.

Updated symptom flow chart. If you child is sick, please keep them home until they are symptom free for 24 hours. If they have COVID-19 symptoms, please keep them home to monitor for 10 days or go for a test. Let’s keep everyone safe! A reminder that if you or your child test positive for COVID-19, we ask that you alert the school immediately. Thank you!

The new screening sheet for parents to sign each day will be added to students Health Passport duo-tangs tomorrow. They should be there for you to sign Tuesday morning.

We are super excited that our new Rose Ave #BLM hip packs have arrived. While we have a safe place to store our masks, we now have a great reminder that Black Lives Matter, for all to see! Here are some proud Rose Avenue @tdsb students modelling their new packs!

On September 30th, we honour all the children that attended residential schools and pledge to learn more about the history of these schools. Every child matters and we need to remember the children we lost and those that survived. Wear orange tomorrow, on Orange Shirt Day, and join us as we remember.
