Ok I had to share this with you all. This is my goofy horse Oliver. He is 6 yrs old. He was a ribbon winning jumper before he came to me. He seemed so big and a bit scary and too powerful for me when I first saw him in action. But there was a sweetness I saw under all that. Now 4 months later he acts like the good he really was all along. He was tired this morning when I came to get him tacked up fir his lesson. All groaning and eyes closed. He was laying on the ground with h...is head up. When I put the halter on he flopped over and stretched out and wouldn’t get up even when I went and sat on his side and laid on him. Then I started prodding mr lazybones to get up. So he sat like this for over 5 mins! I couldn’t stop laughing at him. It took a lot of convincing, pushing and pulling to get him up finally. Yeah he is so not what I thought he was when I first saw him. He would be happy to be a dog and just follow me around and snooze on the sun all day. Love this guy!
