I used to run away from direct sun when planning sessions. Now I run towards it. I will always love the golden glow of sunset, but how beautiful are these engagement photos taken while the sun was high in the sky!!! <3

My heart is full. This weekend I photographed my last wedding of 2018. This year has been so amazing in so many different ways. I met some wonderful brides, connected with and grew relationships with wonderful local vendors, and photographed some sweet sweet families. I am nearly fully booked for 2019 and I'm looking forward to expanding and focusing on family photography for 2019. I still love my wedding couples, but with a new baby on the way, I will be taking some time off to make memories here at home. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. Wishing everyone a very happy New Year!!!!! Our last wedding of 2017 happened last night and on the stroke of midnight, this beautiful dress lit up like a Cinderalla ball gown. So amazing. Congratulations Katie Lynne! After helping so many brides, this was your day and you looked absolutely gorgeous.

Holiday Update. Thank you so much to everyone who has made this year unbelievable. I'm going to end the year making memories with my littles and then I hope to see many of you again in 2018. Another sweet photo that just speaks for itself. I met this family when momma was pregnant with babe #2. Tonight was the first night I met the newest addition and I couldn't believe how adorable both girls were.

When there is literally only 1 red tree in the forest..... you make your couple stand in front of it anyways. Thank goodness it was full of leaves.
