YES, you can can cook cucumbers. Our guests love them and always surprised at this vegetable. It's simple, we peel and cut them into half moon shapes and place into a pot and cover with water. Add a drop of butter and a bit of vegetable or beef broth and just don't over cook them. Enjoy!! A great way to use up all those cucumbers from your garden. ... ** If they are large and lots of seeds we remove that center part.

The season is changing quickly and with that comes fall colours and mushrooms. We took some time as a family yesterday to explore nature that surrounds us, collect mushrooms for our dinner and take pictures

Feeling extra grateful lately for a lot of things but to start welcoming guest's children who have grown into beautiful souls, found partners and now are the next generation of Rose Valley guests. I guess that happens with 22 years in business, not sure where the time went or how they grew up so fast. Thank you to all who recommend us. We truly appreciate it.
