This Saturday, December 19 is the final day to drop off Cans for a Cause to support the Rossland Food BankDrop off your refundables and help us surpass our goal of raising 500 for the food bank

The RAS is grateful for the amazing support of the community and we would like to pay that forward by collecting refundables in support of the Rossland Food Bank. In the month of December, ALL refundbales dropped off on SATURDAYS between now and Christmas will be donated to the Rossland Foodbank. Rossland has approached this differently than the other arenas in our district, but we trust that all these decisions are made with safety in mind. Here is some info they shared today . This is a difficult time and we appreciate everyone’s enthusiasm for the sports they love. After a long discussion the Rossland Warriors regret to inform you that we have decided to cancel our 2020/21 season. The decision was not an easy one for us. T...he COVID restrictions on group gatherings has a huge effect on any potential revenue generation from home games. The team simply cannot afford to operate without this revenue. The team also could not find a suitable practice time at the Rossland Arena. The only time available was not favourable as most team members work full time and have young families at home. The Warriors organization will focus on some fundraising activities for this season in hopes we can return strong for the 21/22 season. We appreciate all the community support we have received over the past few seasons and we look forward to your support in 2021. Thank you Rossland Warriors Organization. See more
