Are you ready for another Squad Saturday?! So are we! This week we are introducing the one... the only... Bailey Wiebe! 1. What do you do for work?... I’m a field sampler for Bureau Veritas. 2. How long have you been in Rotaract? Since October 2019 3. What made you join Rotaract? A couple of close friends were a part of the club and needed extra help with some volunteer hours, the more and more I helped the more I liked what the club stood for and just had to be apart of it. 4. What has been your experience so far since joining Rotaract? It’s been a wonderful experience that I would recommend to anyone. It’s a wonderful way to give back to the community I grew up in. It’s nice being in a club with so many kind individuals. #gpab #squadsaturday

You know what time of the week it is... It's Squad Saturday! This week is our Trusty Treasurer.. Brooke 1. Name? Brooke Funk... 2. What do you do for work? REALTOR with Royal LePage The Realty Group 3. How long have you been in Rotaract? Just over a year! 4. What made you join Rotaract? A good friend of mine was in the club and thought it would be something I would be interested in. After one meeting I was hooked. 5. What has been your experience so far since joining Rotaract? So far I have met amazing people who I am happy to call my friends. I have also felt a great connection with the community as we help fundraise for local animal shelters, and volunteer at other rotary community events! 6. What are you hoping to gain through your time in Rotaract? I am hoping to continue to make more friends while continuing to grow my connection with my community. 7. What are your short-term goal(s)? Recently becoming the clubs treasurer I would love to gain more knowledge within that side of things. 8. What are you long term-goal(s)? Hoping to get back to in person meetings and grow our club!

Work for Karen Munjak Accountant as office assistant. 2. How long have you been in Rotaract? About 4 5 years 3. What made you join Rotaract? My mom was in Rotary and I have been going to her meetings for years. 4. What has been your experience so far since joining Rotaract? I enjoyed doing things like the food drive, going to the conference in Edmonton and doing the bouncy castle for kids at the Scarecrow Festival. I volunteered in Belize to build a playground. I also went to Mexico with Highway to Mexico 100th vehicle celebration and met many Rotarians. I also volunteered to clear tables at the Conference in GP. Zombie run clean-up and selling Love of Pets tickets. 5. What are you hoping to gain through your time in Rotaract? I want to meet new people and make friends. 6. What are your short-term goal(s)? Connect on Zoom with my club. 7. What are you long term-goal(s)? To get more involved in the community when the risk of getting COVID gone. 8. Any other notes you would like included in your highlight? I have been a part of the Rotary family for many years. My grandfather was past-president of the Dawson Creek Rotary Club.
