Happy New Year everyone. Thanks so much for your support. May 2021 bring you health and happiness.
This is a mask I bought through the Rotary Club of Stirling. Meant to model it during our Christmas Meeting, got too excited during the delayed multiple sign in. Available in lots of 12. Let me know next year at our first meeting if you are interested.
Finally someone dropped off full ones! lol
It's the time of year that the Rotary Club of Brighton offers the Coats for Kids programme. There seems to be fewer asks this year from the schools. If there are any students who are being home-schooled, that are in need of outdoor winter clothing this year, please contact us via Messenger, or contact Emily directly at 613-885-5879.
Our bottle drive is tomorrow at King Edward Park. Anyone at the Point can drop their empties at 135 Bayshore and I will gladly bring them uptown. Thanks for everyone’s support!
Youth exchange is such a great experience for both the students and the host families. https://on.rotary.org/3jrD36l
If any of you wish to donate your empty beer, wine and liquor containers, the Brighton Rotary Club will be operating a fundraising event Saturday, November 21st. Our trailer will be parked in the Brighton Community Centre parking lot, close to the tennis courts and Curling Club. Our members will welcome your donations between 10am and 2pm. Once again, we will be using our partnership with the Rotary Club Of Wellington to return the empties for recycling. A double win for Rota...ry. Alternatively, if you need items collected, then please let me know by return e-mail or call me me at 613-475-5256 and arrangements will be made for pick up. As always, on behalf of the Brighton Rotary Club, thank you for your generosity. Chris Reed 107 Mills Road
What a fun day for our Rotary Foundation walk today. Stay tuned for the video next week! Thanks everyone for coming out!
The 25 winners were drawn for the Bentwood Rocker concert but unfortunately the event has to be postponed. All winners will be contacted once we determine when it can be held, and held safely and within all the rules and regulations as set out by the province.
Brighton Rotary has some exciting news! In the spirit of Brighton Applefest, which has been cancelled this year, our own Bentwood Rocker will be performing an outdoor concert at a mystery location in Brighton the evening of Saturday, September 26. Raffle tickets are available through our members, Facebook Messenger, or email the Club at [email protected]. Tickets are $10 each or three for $20. Twenty-five winners will be chosen to bring a friend and come out a...nd rock the evening away! This is a rain or shine event. Bring your own chair, drinks, snacks and mask. Winners will be advised on September 23 together with information on the concert location. Physical distancing will be enforced. With winter just around the corner, local children will be in need of warm clothes. Help,us raise funds for our causes including Coats for Kids! See more
Brighton Rotarians Murray and Chris are hard at work sorting bottles for our Brighton Rotary Bottle Drive at the Sandpiper Centre on Mills Rd in Brighton By the Bay. We’re open for drop-off of beer, wine, and liquor bottles, cans, bladders and tetra packs. Please help us support organizations such as Brighton Minor Hockey and Soccer, Coats for Kids, Brighton Auxiliary Rescue Unit, and more. We’re here today, Saturday, and Sunday from 11 am to 3 pm each day.
Today we’re having our Brighton Rotary Club ‘Rib at Home Fest’ Fundraiser. Our usual happy and colourful fundraising events are no-go’s with that durn Covid! So... we’re doing ribs, chicken and vegetarian stir fry by order ahead of time and pick-up at time slots chosen and ordered by the magnificent supporters of the Rotary who ordered meals. Thank you to the Smokehouse on Oliphant Street, thank you to our supporters, and a big thank you to our club members! See more

Brighton Rotarians took some time after our Friday morning meeting to take a silly walk through the Rotary pavilion in King Edward Park for the District 7070 Rotary AIDS walk that will take place virtually on July 29, 2020.
Get the Word Out! It’s a new Rotary year, and Rotaract members around the globe are now officially equal participants in our Rotary International family as Ro...taractor becomes a Rotary membership category! Definitely worth celebrating with fancy hair and awesome shoes in honour of Rotaract #Rotaract #Rotary #PeopleOfAction

It is with great sadness to inform you of the passing of former Brighton Rotarian and founding member of the PROBUS club on May 10 at the age of 90. Please plant a tree in his memory. https://www.tributearchive.com/obituari//Gordon-James-King
