What a busy week! We were happy to get our Flower Baskets delivered this week to local businesses and individuals. Thank you to all our supporters! While you received a beautiful basket from Pemberton Valley Nursery, we were able to support two PSS bursary awards this year. Our annual Flower Basket project is always a big success! Thanks to all the volunteers who helped with the delivery!

Our Rotary Club has been busy helping out the Signal Hill Elementary School with their "Healing through Harvest" Project. We utilized some old wood from and turned it into garden boxes. Thanks to the Pemberton's Med Shed and Rotarians Richard Megeny, Phill Read, Dave DenDuyf, Steven Hitchen and volunteers Ted Craddock and Mike Turcotte. The wooden boxes are filled with Garden Blend from Sea to Sky Soils and now have a new dedication irrigation line with drip irrigation to e...ach box. A huge shout out to Arid Irrigation and Rob Meilleur and all the volunteers who assisted with trench digging, glueing pipe and backfilling. Many local businesses have donated product and reduced rates to help make this project happen (Rock n Roll Trucking, RONA, Sea to Sky Soils, Arid Irrigation, Twin River Gravel, Rootdown Farms, Helmer Organics, Continental Pole). We are very excited that in one month, we were able to accomplish this task and the teachers, students and families of Signal Hill will be able to start planting next week. Stay tuned for updates!
