Come join the Rotary Chinook Club of Calgary and The Calgary West Rotary Club celebrate World Polio Day this Saturday night Oct 24th from 7 - 8:30pm for Bingo 4 Polio (via Zoom). 3 great speakers providing polio updates including one polio survivor in a Q & A discussion about growing up with this terrible disease. Rotary International is close to making polio the second global disease to be eradicated from the world. From over 350,000 cases in 1988 to only 100 now. We have... to keep fighting. Day 2 of Rotary Chinook Club of Calgary Rotary - Movie Night at McMahon goes tonight. Lot opens at 8:30 with the event beginning at Sundown (~9:45pm). Unfortun...ately no food trucks on site but we will allow additional purchases of drinks and movie snacks via cash donation. Yes we do have portable washrooms on both the East and West side of the lot. Please have patience as our volunteers safely park you 2 meters apart. Be respectful of the fellow guests and try to have your running lights off (some vehicles when you apply your parking break the running lights go off). The audio can be found on FM 95.1.
