Hi #CVRC, We thought it would be nice to take a moment to thank Angela and Frank, and our generous members, for the funds we recently raised for Polio Plus. At one meeting in November:... - Our members and guests committed $675 for Polio Plus. - With Angela and Frank's matching, that becomes a donation of $1,675. - With Bill and Melinda Gates' matching, our impact grows to more than $5,000 to help Rotary's Polio efforts. - At $0.60 a dose, that's more than 8,300 vaccine doses to inoculate vulnerable kids. Our fundraising efforts have also put us very close to achieving our Polio Plus Certificate for the year ($1,500 US). Way to go club!
