Sad news of Doug Husband's passing. He was a great supporter of Rotary as this video recalls.

Please remember when attending our September Shed-It. On September 26th, from 11am to 2pm to wear a mask and practice social distancing. The event will be held in the Safeway Parking lot, 64th Ave. and 120th St. with all proceeds going to the Starfish Backpack Program. Shredding will be by donation with donations over $20 receiving a Charity Tax Receipt. Bring your confidential, outdated and sensitive documents and watch them be shredded.

Peter Harasymchuck, a long time Rotarian and a pillar of the community was awarded his fourth Paul Harris award by his fellow North Delta Rotarians during our weekly ZOOM meeting. The award was presented by District Governor Carol Tichelman. Peter is an Accountant serving North Delta and Surrey and constantly puts service above self. Congratulations, Peter.

The North Delta Rotary Club is gearing up to resume our Starfish Backpack program providing weekend food to children in need. While the debate continues whether Schools will open we are purchasing and stockpiling supplies in anticipation of distributing the backpacks in whatever form it takes. Now: The Ask. Please help our by attending our September Shed-A-Thon. On September 26th, from 10am to 1pm. The event will be held in the Safeway Parking lot, 64th Ave. and 120t...h St. with all proceeds going to the Starfish Backpack Program. Rotary welcomes our newest member. Navi Sandhu, wife, mother, author and community volunteer is a valued addition to the North Delta Rotary Club. Her induction was the first to be held outdoors during a "tail gate" meeting in order to Social Distance during the Covid pandemic. Sean Hogan (not in photo) welcomed her and Past President Don Pateman presented Navi with her Certificate of Membership.
