As of Monday, December 14th, there will be no in person services at the Slave Lake Library. We will still be offering curbside pick up Monday-Friday, 10:00 am - 3:30 pm. We ask that patrons returning library materials put them into the book drop ONLY, please do not try to hand them off to staff when picking up more materials.... The Slave Lake Library will not be offering curbside pickup December 24, 2020 -January 3, 2020 as we will be closed. The library will restart curbside pick-up January 4, 2021. If you have any questions or concerns please reach out to us at 780-849-5250 or [email protected]

Marilyn has been busy all morning checking in books from last week's delivery! Keep an eye on your notifications, one of these might be for you!
Blind Date with a book starts this week! Next time you call for curbside pick up, why not try a blind date! This year we have made separate age categories so everyone can enjoy it! Each age group will also have a prize for entering. (Ages 0-7, 8-13, 14-17 & 18+)... To participate, call the library to schedule a pickup and request a blind date book (you can choose a genre or the staff to pick for you), and you will also receive a blind date survey to fill out after you finish your book. Bring us back the survey and you will be entered for the prize! You can enter as many times as you'd like. Blind Date with a book ends February 15th, 2021. If you have more questions, reach out to us on messenger ot Suzanne at [email protected]
