The Grand Prize Draw for the 2019-20 Walkerton Lottery took place on June 25, 2020. Draw was made by Roy Mullen with Rotarians Flo Gutscher, Nina McTeer, and Wilf Lane looking on. Winners of the $5,000 Grand Prize were Dave & Marlene Batte with ticket #0283.
Because of Covid-19 residents are kept in place. Rotarians visited with the horses of Doug Schaab to wave and remember the residents.

Today Rotary planted a tree at the Walkerton Royal Canadian Legion to commemorate the 80th Anniversary of the Rotary Club of Walkerton. Thanks Davishill Nursery for obtaining the tree and planting it!

The Rotary Club of Walkerton has provided $900 towards the Saugeen Student Startup Program sponsored through Saugeen Connects and the Saugeen Economic Development Corportation. This program will give young student entreneurs the opportunity to experience the creation and development of their own businesses.
