We Did It Georgetown!!!! We set the ambitious goal of planting 2,020 along the Hungry Hollow Trail for our Clubs 65th Anniversary. We are proud to say, that between October 3rd to the 10th, our club, along with some amazing community members, planted 2,020 Trees! A Very Special Thank You goes to:... -TD Friends of the Environment -The Town of Halton Hills -The Credit Valley Conservation -Sheridan Nurseries. And of course, the Friends of Rotary, the volunteers, who came out to support this cause and get their hands dirty, planting a forest! We Did It Georgetown!

We are going to try to complete our goal, TONIGHT!!!!! Rotary Georgetown had a huge goal of trying to plant 2020 tree's along the Hungry Hollow Trail. We did an amazing job, getting close to 1,750 in the ground in one day, and we very motived to finish! Tonight from 5-7pm our club plans to meet at West Branch Dr park and finish. All you need to bring is a shovel, anything for your own comfort and the willingness to get some dirt under your nails!
