A quick tutorial on how to order refills online via our website. As you may know, Dan and I have been taking week long shifts at the store while the other works from home. Luckily while I am "off" I keep busy at home by doing the book keeping, running errands and doing "how to" videos! Because we have been working solo it does make for busy days (even while the other is helping from home). The more people that order refills online the less stress for those working on the fr...ont line (ie at work). We want to encourage customers to use this feature as it gives the person working at the store more time to process presciptions and to spend with people in the store that require counselling, injections and so on. For our safety, the safety of our customers and especially the safety of our elderly population, starting last week Dan and I have decided to take 2 week shifts at the store while the other self isolates at home to stay healthy. If we both became ill at the same time we would not be able to continue to serve our community and may be forced to close our doors. Bad news - The flu shot has been delayed! The World Health Organization (WHO) was late letting manufacturers know which strains to include in this year's vaccine. GOOD NEWS - This delay should better match the circulating viruses in the northern hemisphere. Normally we can have it in stock and ready to immunize people by October 1st but it appears the flu shot likely will not be available until the last week of October....
