Dear clients, In light of this week’s announcement from the Quebec government, we are sharing the new restrictions regarding real estate brokerage that will be ...in application from January 9 to February 8. For Royal LePage, nothing is more important than the health and safety of our brokers and clients. 1 Real estate brokerage remains an essential service. You can therefore take on or pursue your real estate transaction with a broker. 2 Favor remote interactions with your broker and other stakeholders. 3 Open houses are prohibited. 4 Property showings should end at a time that allows you and your real estate broker to be at home by 8 pm, as prescribed by Public Health’s curfew (from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m.) 5 It is strongly recommended that you sign a health declaration form submitted by your broker in order to limit the risk of spread. 6 Before visiting a property, it is strongly recommended that you obtain mortgage pre-approval in order to demonstrate your seriousness to selling clients. 7 During regular, planned visits, wearing a mask or face cover is mandatory. Visitors should sanitize their hands before entering the property and avoid touching door and cabinet handles. The number of visitors should be limited to buyers and their broker. 8 It is recommended that sellers leave the property during the showings. Sellers or the listing broker must also make sure to disinfect the property between each showing. 9 The physical offices of real estate agencies in the province remain closed until February 8 inclusively. Chers clients, À la lumière des annonces du gouvernement du Québec du 6 janvier dernier, nous tenions à vous donner l'heure juste concernant les règles en vigue...ur du 9 janvier au 8 février. Pour Royal LePage, rien n'est plus important que la santé et la sécurité de ses courtiers et clients. 1 Le courtage immobilier fait partie des services essentiels. Vous pouvez donc entreprendre ou poursuivre vos démarches auprès d'un courtier immobilier. 2 Privilégiez les interactions à distance avec votre courtier et autres intervenants. 3 Les visites libres sont interdites. 4 Les visites de propriétés devraient se terminer à un heure qui permette à vous et votre courtier d'être à la maison avant 20h, tel que prescrit par la Santé publique par le biais du couvre-feu (entre 5h et 20h). 5 Il est fortement recommandé de signer un formulaire de déclaration remis par votre courtier concernant votre état de santé afin de limiter les risques de propagation. 6 Avant de visiter une propriété, il est fortement recommandé d'obtenir une préapprobation hypothécaire afin de démontrer votre sérieux aux clients vendeurs. 7 Lors des visites régulières et planifiées, le port d'un masque ou couvre-visage est obligatoire. Les visiteurs doivent se désinfecter les mains avant d'entrer dans la propriété et éviter de toucher aux poignées de portes et d'armoires. Le nombre de visiteurs devra se limiter aux acheteurs et à leur courtier. 8 Il est recommandé que les vendeurs quittent la propriété durant la visite des lieux. Les vendeurs ou le courtier inscripteur doivent également s'assurer de désinfecter les lieux entre chaque visite. 9 Les bureaux physiques des agences immobilières de la province demeurent fermés jusqu'au 8 février inclusivement.
