April Newsletter - the donations

Today I took in the collection of donations that I received since I began my Row For Blood campaign to my charity of choice: The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada. Individual donations send directly to me, sent via my GoFundMe page, and collected from a few small business sponsorship contributions total more than $8500. Congratulations! To Stephen Murphy and Leven Brown! Stephen started out solo but fell behind the fleet after struggling with various sea issues. Leven Brown joined him after 30 days and now after 80 days they've arrived!! It's amazing to see that all 26 boats made it across. Amazing!!

My ocean rowing attempt is on hold until I can sort out funding obstacles. But, the charity fundraising aspect is on. All donations are for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada in honour of my Dad who died from leukemia last year. This link takes you to the official charity page (tax receipt included).
