The Legion will be reopening for events! As always we will be following strict covid-19 safety guidelines to ensure the comfort and safety of our valued patrons, members and volunteers. Bingo will reopen on January 11, with doors opening at 6:30 and BINGO beginning at 7:30.... Darts will resume on Friday January 15,2021 with doors opening at 7:30 and darts beginning at 8:00. We remind visitors to the Legion to practice social distancing and to increase hand washing and sanitizing as much as possible. During darts, league members should refrain from gathering or clapping hands with other players and aim to implement new ways to acknowledge fellow dart players keeping health and safety measures in mind.

The Royal Canadian Legion St.Albans will be having bingo tonight. The doors will open at6:30 and bingo will start at 7:30. To our valued patrons, After careful consideration of the ongoing COVID-19 situation within our province, we have made the decision to continue with our Friday night Mixed Darts & Monday night BINGO for the time being. All updates are being watched carefully to ensure the safety of our patrons at all times. As always the use of masks, physical distancing wherever possible, hand washing and sanitization are key in preventing the spread of germs. We assure you that we would never put the safety of our patrons, members and volunteers at risk and should there be any need to amend the decision to continue offering these activities we will keep you all updated. The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 53 Bay D’Espoir will be holding it’s annual Remembrance Day Ceremony on November 11, 2020 at the Cenotaph. There will be NO parade due to COVID 19 restrictions. Only 20 participants, including invited guests, are permitted in the direct area of cenotaph. Unfortunately 2922 Vimy Ridge RCACC are unable to participate this year in uniform due to COVID-19 restrictions within their program at the national level. Please note that there will NOT be... a gathering at the Legion before or after ceremony. Masks and social distancing protocols must be practiced at all times. We strongly encourage you to display your coloured Poppy pictures in your windows as a sign of remembrance. LEST WE FORGET
