It is with great sadness that the Branch has chosen to cancel its Remembrance Day activities this year. This is being done because of the events of the past several days. The health and safety of our members , patrons, staff and friends are very important to us. I would ask each of you to, in your own way, remember those who have given the ultimate sacrifice for our Country. Hopefully, next year we will be back to some semblance of normal. Please be safe and we wish you all good health.

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY THE LEGION IS CLOSED UNTIL AT LEAST NOVEMBER 10th. Refunds for the concert tonight will be issued once we are able to reopen. Please note there will be nobody in the office to process memberships or return any phone calls as well. We are truly saddened to temporarily close our doors, but the safety of our staff and patrons take priority. We will get through this together! Take care and stay safe!

We are Sorry to announce that our President, Comrade Steve Marshall has had to resign as President, due to health Issue, Luckily these are not Serious, and we Wish him all the Best in his Recovery. As Per our Bylaws Comrade Peter Devlin, who was First vice, has resumed the Role of President for the remainder of the year. We would also like to thank everyone who turned out tonight for the General meeting, it was good to see so many Attend.

Remembrance Day 2020, updated Oct 22nd Due to Covid-19 restrictions we have had to adjust what is going on, and what we can do. There will be no service at the school before hand. ... There will be a ceremony at the Cenotaph. There will be a cordoned off Area where the Legion will hold the ceremony. This will start just before 11 o'clock with the arrival of the Color Party. We ask that if anyone wants to watch to please stay outside of the cordoned off area, maintain social distancing, and wear a mask (if you so wish). All Wreaths, will be pre-laid at the Cenotaph, except 1 which will be laid by The Branch President. A recording of the Honor Roll read by WWII Veteran George Hope, will be put up on the Legion Page. The Branch will be open 12-8 pm. This year's Remembrance Day will only be open to Members and invited guests due to Covid-19 restrictions; a maximum of 180 people will be allowed in the Legion.
