The Legion has a program called Operation: Leave the Streets Behind. The RC Legion has now connected with the OPP to prepare them to assist homeless Veterans with mental health issues and assist in the process of getting them help through the Legion. This is a fantastic step in the right direction!

This afternoon when I got home from Lakefield, I took my mother & father to see the beautiful wreath display at the Buckhorn Community Centre. The weather was beautiful today.

Lee Harrison and Ron LaChapelle, Veterans and comrades from Br 52 dropped by Br 77, Lakefield after their trip to the Afghanistan memorial in Trenton. Nice to see you guys!

So fortunate to remember with Veteran Arnold Graham and friends today...thank you.

Although we can't meet in the traditional sense this year due to COVID-19, we can look back at some notable moments from past years. These are predominantly from 2009 to 2019, with one picture from 2006. A small intimate ceremony will be held at Lakefield in the morning, but please do drop by later to pay your respects and spend some moments in silent reflection. We remember MCpl Maury McCrillis who passed away tragically earlier this year in a motorcycle accident.
