Yesterday my son got married and the extra planning that goes into a Covid wedding made things interesting to say the least. Every step we were aware of all the provincial protocols that were necessary and it wasn’t easy at times BUT it went amazingly. Now, I’ve never been a mother in law before and watching my son marry the love of his life was a moment I’ll never forget. Thank you to my brothers at the fire department for changing our sign for Chase and Camille!!... Many exciting things happened during their day. Like One Scoop Two Scoop were very accommodating to serve the bride some treats before she walked down the aisle. FYI. Make sure you buy Vanilla in the event you spill a drop or two. Then when we were walking around for photos The Bezanson Trio played their first dance for them!! It was a show stopping song and they way looked amazing. We also encountered a flash mob dancing in the street in front of King Theatre!! We danced with them all again and made new friends. The food, music and company was a blast. We ended our evening with fire works put on by my husband. (Fire Ban checked prior). Every moment was incredible and there’s only one thing I would have changed, having the brides family be able to attend as they’re from Alberta. So we did the next best thing ZOOM for the win. Long post sorry, BUT I’m happy to say I now knows what being on the other side of a wedding feels like. Nicole
