HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE ! Check out this Basswood we removed today. It was amazing the tree was still standing. Permission was granted to pull out 2 fence panels and fell this tree into the neighbour's yard. A 120 year old concrete fountain had to be protected and ropes had to be delicately set. After receiving the permit we decided to move forward over the winter. They now will have the space to replace it with a new tree in the spring. This week we removed the last 2 in a day with full cleanup. We brought in the z80/60 genie boom with 80ft vertical height and 60 ft outward reach to assist with 1 of 3 trees too dead to climb. Back to back crane days. We partnered with Kens Cranes ( and fence panel removal ) to setup his 50 ton 4 axle crane for some long branches and heavy wood. These Poplars have a compliance order from the City saying they have to be removed. We were able to get the ball rolling.
