With the announcement today that we are going into a State of Emergency what does that mean for us? Well it's like: Oh No not again, When will it be Over?, Mo...re restrictions just when the vaccines are starting to roll out. It will be tough for us all to continue to live like this. But we did it last year and this is one step closer to the end of these Covid Times. We are going to have to follow all the new rules whether we like it or not. So I am asking you to think of a great vacation memory or a family time that you look forward to doing again. Close your eyes and picture those good times and tell yourself that they are coming back soon. The fact is those good times will be here soon. Have faith in that, I do. In terms of what the State of Emergency means for Royal Homes operations. First and foremost, we continue to fully support the Ontario Government's Heath and Safety recommendations. Secondly, we have been deemed an Essential Business which carries responsibilities and obligations. The primary responsibility is to have us all live and work in a safe environment. Recently the Ministry of Labour met with us, reviewed our Health and Safety protocols and complimented us on our efforts. With their help we have fine tuned some of our polices to keep up with with the constantly changing rules. With an Essential Business Designation we have an obligation to keep building homes for clients, some of whom would otherwise be without a home to live in. This is especially true of our many First Nation clients. In addition we have been asked to participate in projects that are part of the Federal Government's Rapid Housing Initiative which aims to provide Affordable Housing for those most in need. During the State of Emergency we will be continuing all of our operations in our office, factory, job sites, service department and design centres. Safety protocols will vary slightly for each segment of our operations. If you are part of our operations do not underestimate the value of what you are doing, not only is it essential, it is important. We can do this! Living in Hope for Better times ahead.
