The RRDTC does not use standard business cases which represent the past challenges of organizations. Rather, it is forward-looking and asks students to work with community leaders to address a challenge of societal concern. For 2018, we have partnered with City of Victoria and together we have identified an important social challenge. The details of the challenge will be announced by the Mayor of Victoria on February 19th, 2018. View the schedule of events for details.

Case competition updated and reimagined! Our new and innovative design-thinking challenge will tackle contemporary societal concerns in a way that goes beyond the standard approach to solving problems. The competition will consist of two rounds. First Round - Begins virtually, Feb 19, 2018, while teams are still in their home communities.... Second round - Takes place entirely on campus from April 4th to 7th, 2018 here at beautiful Royal Roads University in Victoria, BC. Stay tuned for further details.
