Citizenship and Immigration Canada has now reached the quota of 5000 new applications for the Sponsorship of Parents and Grandparents. They will no longer be accepting new applications until next year. The Super Visa still remains a quick and easy way to bring your parents and grandparents to Canada.

Budget 2014 (Economic Action Plan 2014) will be terminating both the Federal Immigrant Investor Program, and the Entrepreneur Program. All applicants who submitted their applications on or before February 11, 2014 will be terminated, as well as issued refunds. NOTE: Investor and Entrepreneur applicants selected by a province for nomination will not be affected by this change.
