Replica simulators help utilities worldwide by supporting the de-risked installation of HVDC and FACTS devices. KEPCO's first replica controller is allowing the Korean utility company to do HIL testing of replica controls for a TCSC (thyristor-controlled series capacitor): a type of FACTS device on their grid.
