We have changed our hours just a bit. Hours are Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm, Friday 8am to 8pm and Saturday 8am to 12pm 1pm to 5pm.

RTM got a new truck. The guys are putting on all the accessories for them to get this truck ready for the road. Need an exhaust system? How about some new fenders? Give us a shout and we can order them through our parts department and install them in the shop.

Tech Tip #6 Ensuring your vehicle has the correct tire pressure can be critical to your safety. Under or over inflated tires can affect handling, grip and are more prone to blow outs. By keeping the proper tire pressure you increase your fuel economy and prolong the life of the tire. Tires should be visually checked before each trip and pressures physically checked every week.

Tech Tip #5 Shocks are an integral part of your vehicles suspension system. Some things to look out for are oil leaking out of the shocks, any physical damage like cracking mounts or dents in the housing, and they can be inspected after driving by checking the shock temperature because it should be hot if its working and cold if its not. Here at RTs we have access to a wide variety of brands and types of shocks for all your suspension needs.

Tech Tip #4 Winter is here in Manitoba, with it comes all the salt and gravel we put down on our roads which can create a sloppy mess that covers your windshield. Are your wiper blades just smearing the grime or are they clearing the grime. Windshield wiper blades deteriorate with time when you see any of the signs in the image its time for them to be replaced. Here at RTs we carry washer fluid along with a wide selection of blades to keep your windshield clean and streak free.

Tech Tip #3 Some of the most important parts of your engine rely on the serpentine and v-belts on the front of your engine. The water pump, cooling fan, and power steering all can be run using these belts. Checking the condition of your belts is easy if you remember it should be replaced if you see 3 or more cracks in a 3 inch section or you can hear your belt squealing it may also need replacement. Belts are usually inexpensive and replacing them before they break can save you from being stranded on the side of the road and major engine repairs. We have lots of belts in stock, even if we have to order it, we can usually have it here the same day.
