We are so pleased to announce our newest team member, Jim Legg. Jim will join our team as a Service & Training Tech. Jim is a 3rd generation volunteer firefighter with a background in high angle rescue and confined space which spanned over a thirty-year career. He held various positions, from Training Officer to Captain, and eventually onto District Chief, which he held for 15 years. He holds several NFPA standards, NFPA 1001 level 1 & 2, NFPA 1021 level 1 & 2 , and NFPA 104...1 level 1 & 2. Through the fire department, Jim also became involved for 25 years with Elgin County Farm Safety and he is now the President. Along with being a firefighter, Jim is also a licensed heavy mechanic. Jim worked for CN Rail for 10 years and then went on to work for construction companies repairing a fleet of equipment and while working there obtained his A Z driver license. For the last thirty years, he was employed by the Town of Aylmer. During his employment with the town, he was able to upgrade his confined space skills as well as obtaining his water and sewer MOE licenses. For the last 5 years, Jim has also been on the Health & Safety Committee. Jims varied job experiences and skill sets make him a great asset to our team.
