Last week we received the news that our dear sweet Tara passed away. Tara had been a regular face at daycare since almost the beginning of Ruff Haus and we always loved having her with us! Tara was known for driving around in her mom’s convertible car and always having a big smile on her face! We were told she had that smile on her face right up till she passed. We will miss our Little Lambchop deeply, but will treasure all the moments we had with her!

Happy Friday everyone, It saddens us that we have to send this message but unfortunately, it is needed at this time. We understand that everyone has their own challenges and struggles and this year has been a tough one for so many, including us. We know that when working through these difficult times, we as humans don’t always put our best foot forward. ... At Ruff Haus our goal is to always ensure that each and every person that comes through our doors, reaches out to us over the phone or contacts us through email is treated with the upmost respect and are greeted in a friendly manner. As of late, our staff have been met with some unfriendly and rude interactions, whether in person or over the phone. This is simply unacceptable. Being rude to our staff will not be tolerated in anyway and may result in services being discontinued and/or refused. We understand that sometimes we have bad days, we too are only human and are no exception but please be kind. Underneath our masks we are always smiling and ready to help you. We LOVE what we do and will continue to meet you all with happiness and love. We can’t thank everyone enough for their love and support

It’s Western Day in the Haus

We were thrilled to be able to present the donations collected to the Women & Children's Shelter of Barrie & David Busby Centre. Both organizations were so grateful! Thank you all so much for making this such a huge success. We are simply overwhelmed by your generosity

Today we honour the men, women and service animals who have served and continue to serve our country in military operations both at war and at peace. Today we remember the sacrifice of those one hundred thousand Canadian's that died for us, for their homes, families and friends, for traditions they cherished and a future they believed in. And today we acknowledge the courage and sacrifice of those who served their country and we acknowledge our responsibility to work for the peace they fought hard to achieve. Lest we forget. Thank you for your past, present and future service for this amazing country we all call home .

December's Boy Dog of the Month ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Axel has been a regular face here at the Haus for the last couple months now! Right from his first visit Axel was hooked on daycare! He can never get into the building fast enough! Axel loves to run around and wrestle with all the other puppies in the Haus! Shout out to his buddies Ellie, Rico and Sadie! His very best friend is another husky puppy named Ella, who just so happens to be his litter mate! Axel is such a snuggly little man and loves to get lots of hugs and kisses from all of the staff! Axel loves to show off when the treats come out and always does he best sit for us! When Axel isn’t here at the Haus with all of his friends, you can find him at home hanging out with his family and getting spoiled!

December's Girl Dog of the Month ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ella is a newer face here at the Haus! Ella was a bit shy on her first visit to the Haus, but after another puppy showed her the ropes, she burst out of her shell! Ella loves coming to the daycare and always lets us know she is here with her cute little husky howls! Ella loves to wrestle with her friends, especially her puppy gal pals Sadie, Willow and Ellie! Ella also loves playing with her litter mate Axel, who just so happens to go to the same daycare! Ella often takes breaks from her play time to get some cuddles in with the staff! Ella is a nap time champ and loves to curl up under the staff’s chair for a snooze! When Ella isn’t here at the Haus, you can find her at home playing with her husky brother Finn or snuggling with her human sister and parents!

We are now fully booked for grooming until Christmas. We do have a few spots available before the new year and have started a cancellation list. Please call our office at 705-739-7833 if you would like to be added to the list or book an appointment. Thank you
