In this fast-moving exciting world of technology, many children are learning to communicate by text, chat apps, emojis, and social networking. However, because of this, they may lack the essential talking skills necessary for them to speak up with confidence. Success in later life is often dependent on our development as a child. A confident child will try new things, have good social skills, have more self-awareness and empathy & will not be scared of failing. Confident children will have the courage to ask questions, state their boundaries or express their ideas. It is our goal to encourage and support children to build confidence in themselves, as they observe, discover, explore and make choices every day. How you may ask? By allowing children to learn in an environment that meets their need for fun & curiosity and engaging them in a world of imagination and wonder, we unlock their creative potential and help them to build on vital life skills in a non-traditional classroom setting. We will be exploring and experimenting with new forms of theatre and on-stage expression staging performances for children and young people providing theatre exploration through the Barnstormer’s adult class creating conditions and incentives which will raise awareness of theatre and help it to reach its potential for teens in our area. THEATRE CLASS FOR TEENS AND TWEENS! Sundays 3-5 Starting January 16, 2022. Our story is about a very odd guardian angel and those she needs to help earn her wings. The cool thing about this angel is that she has a shadow that basically works like a TARDIS! Exploring humor and emotional depth, we will be doing acting exercises that focus on character, improv, and acting techniques. This program builds confidence, & discipline for the stage. Clue, the stage play Our play opens on a dark and stormy night, just as all great murder mysteries are contractually obligated to do. We are very quickly introduced to Wadsworth the butler, the Cook, Yvette the maid, Miss Scarlet, Professor Plum, Colonel Mustard, Mrs. Peacock, Mr. Green and Mrs. White. The cast of characters is very colourful both literally and figuratively. Things quickly spin out of control as the characters realize they are being blackmailed by the myste...rious a Mr. Boddy, and then the murderer strikes! Find out who (or how many) cast members are offed! What we will tell you here is that the story continually tops itself throughout. Secret after sordid secret is revealed until the breathless climax of the play arrives and justice is served to the guilty party or is it parties?!
