Happy Friday. It has been a busy week. Shoppers are feeling more comfortable to come out and many are looking for home furnishings. I just love when we can fulfill the wishes for customers. I have recently been working on an old 1950s wardrobe makeover for a client. We are transforming it with chalk paint. But like many wood pieces you face obstacles. This one has a finish that bleeds through any paint. My secret weapon, like many chalk paint lovers is a clear Shellac. Several coats of this and you are set. The four drawers give an abundance of storage and its sturdy carpentry are it a wonderful piece of history. If only he could talk. There is no more small but for those that questioned if a medium would be too big. I made the switch myself and the difference is very little. You can see where I placed a small mask over a medium & then a small over a large. Working our way into stage 3 we need to be prepared and with this mask you will be doing your part.
