I love Valentine’s Day. My girls asked me the other day what my favourite Holiday was and when I said Valentine’s Day instead of Christmas I was met with twisted lips and fast confused blinks! If you have kiddos you know that look.. Lol! This Hoya Heart was an early Valentine for me.. I just love it! If you don’t know the story behind Valentine’s Day I’ll catch you up, it’s a gooder. It involves a military dude that was very controlling and hateful and didn’t want tho...se he was in charge of to be distracted by matters of the heart. So he forbid them being involved and or married. Behind the scenes however there was a religious figure that took pity on these people and was marrying them in secret. He was found out and incarcerated and sentenced to die. So because of this guys commitment and beliefs in love and unity we now have St Valentine’s Day . (His name was Valentine, of course).
