Runhart Carpentry is a Mitchell-based company that is currently seeking: 2 General Labourers or Experienced Carpenters. Runhart Carpentry was founded in 2017 and is a rapidly growing company that specializes in exterior and interior home renovations, fences, decks and framing to finish of sheds/shops. Much of the work you will be doing will be interesting and rewarding as no two projects are the same. What we are looking for: We are seeking 2 individuals who take pride in his or her work and enjoys working as part of the team and has the ability to work independently and follow instructions . If you enjoy working in an environment that is clean and organized and offers the opportunity to develop your skillset, then Runhart Carpentry could be the right fit for you. * Capable of understanding and carrying out verbal and written instructions * Proper use of measuring tools * Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, siding, steel and hardware * Measure, cut, assemble and join materials made of wood, vinyl, lightweight steel, and other materials * Framing, repairs & alterations (building floors, walls, installing trusses, sheeting) * Building decks, fences, pergolas and other exterior framing * Siding installation (Hardie, CanExel, wood siding, Vinyl Siding) * Install insulation, vapor barrier, and trim * Ability to complete assigned work on time with high attention to detail * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with direction * Good communication and time management skills and Excellent customer service skills to deal with clients * Good work ethic and must be punctual * Work Monday - Thursday till 4:30pm, Friday’s till 3pm * Meet in Mitchell, or pick up can be arranged *Competitive pay based on hours worked and experience *Signing bonus paid out after 4 weeks of completed work *Can start immediately!!!!!!!! We are looking for someone with the following qualities: positive attitude, punctual and with a strong work ethic. Responsibilities and tasks include (but are not limited to) ... - Demolition - Framing - Window & Door Installations - Siding, Soffit and Fascia Installations - Eavestrough Installations - Fences - Decks Minimum Qualifications: 0-3 years residential construction experience Motivated to do high quality work Able to work well both independently and as part of a team Safety conscious Excellent time management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Professional , strong work ethic Must have PPE (Certified Steel Toe Boots, Hard Hat) tool belt with the necessary hand tools Ideally candidate would have a license and vehicle to get to and from shop, but pick ups could be arranged The majority of our work is outside.
