Well now, I just spend 30 minutes making a great post and FB decided to not post it after I made an event so here is is again.... I hope! Running Chains End of ...Season. Please have your skill lists handed in to Calvin by October 28th, as they will be what we use to determine the 1st-3rd place prizes for the club. (They do not need to be completed - and in the event of a tie we will have a random draw. Anyone who did not place 1-3rd don't fret there will also be a draw for a prize there as well. We also will have a prize for most improved and for most club support. Following the regular end of season prizes we will be hosting a Trick or Treat Tournament starting at 1pm on October 31. If there is lots of people we may change it to a flex start due to the Covid rules. Tournament Rules 1) Open to everyone, friends, family and the Dawson and GP clubs. 2) Entry fee: Non-perishable food items. We will then donate them to either the Salvation Army or the Woman's Resource Society. 2b) Optional additional entry fee: $2.00 for 2 "Dirty Mulligans" and $5.00 for 2 regular mulligans. (To be explained below) Money fees will be used to help cover the cost of prizes. 3) Tournament Format: This will be a trick or treat format. Starting at each tee off there will be either a trick or a treat. Tricks could be anything from playing the hole with only a putter, make a drive using forehand or anything else challenging that we come up with. (See where your skill list game play from the last 2 months could come in handy? Treats might be candy, drive from the red tee off, or something else that can help your score. 4) Mulligans: There is two types if you so choose to get them. If you purchased either type of mulligan it is only valid for the first 9. If you want to more for the second 9 then that is another purchase. You can not have more than 2 each for a round (so non-stackable). If you use a dirty mulligan it is played against another card mate to make them re-do their shot. For example: Calvin makes a rare parked shot at basket #2, I decide to play a dirty mulligan to make him re-do his drive and hopefully it is not as good as his first one. A regular mulligan would be used to re-do your own shot if you feel a second shot would help you out (some of the tricks might make you considered using a mulligan. Mulligans - both types if used do not count as an extra shot penalty. 5) Prizes. We will have a prize for 1st place, CTP and longest putt. We will also have a prize for best costume after all it is Trick or Treat. There will also be some random give aways. 6) There is no Out of Bounds. Play where it lands. Good luck. 7) Please follow and respect others and follow any rules for Covid. 8) We will also be taking video and pictures of the event. Hope to see you all there and have fun!

Hey everybody we are working on something a bit different for this Saturday for club. We are working out some more details but thinking of a doubles round with the Dawson Creek club out at Pouce Coupe. There will be prizes for CTP and possibly the longest putt. Running chains will also have a limited selection of discs and bags on site as well. Follow us or Dawson's page for more upcoming details.

We are happy to announce that we are 100% insured for events and league night, we will be having weekly league nights and are listed on UDISC where we will be able to challenge other leagues and clubs as well as host our home town challenges. We will also be having skill building night also. The fine city of Fort St. John has offered to help with mowing the course for us prior to our events, so it is going to look good and be fun.
