Rural Action Centre Alberton is pleased to promote two upcoming Red Cross First Aid Training Courses being held at Western Curling Club 526 Main Street in A...lberton. Both training courses are being facilitated by C & M Inc. Limited Seating. Red Cross Emergency First Aid and CPR Level C (one day) 75.00 plus Hst = 86.25. **Wednesday, October 14th - 9am to 4pm. Red Cross Standard First Aid Training(two-day) 100.00 plus Hst = 115.00. **Day 1 Wednesday, October 14th - 9am to 4pm. **Day 2 Thursday, October 15th - 9am to 4pm. ** Comprehensive two-day course offering first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for those who need training due to work requirements or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies at home. Includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines. Meets federal and a variety of provincial/territorial regulations for Standard First Aid and CPR. In keeping with Public Health Guidelines stated by the Chief Health Officer of PEI, physical distancing, masks, sanitizing and disinfecting protocols will be adhered to, to ensure the safety of participants and facilitator. - SÉRIE DE COURS GRATUITS SUR LES BASES DU SUCCÈS ENTREPRENEURIAL Tous les nouveaux entrepreneurs et ceux qui visent se lancer en affaires sont invités à sinscrire gratuitement à la série de cours en ligne Les bases du succès entrepreneurial , qui sera offerte du 28 septembre au 26 octobre. Livrée en français par la consultante Jacinthe Lemire de la firme Solutions eurêka experts-conseils pour les Centres daction ruraux de la province, la série comprend huit séance...s de 90 minutes chacune, soit les lundis et mercredis de 18 h 30 à 20 h (sauf le 12 octobre puisque cest un congé férié). Le cours couvre la budgétisation, les flux de trésorerie, la responsabilité fiscale, les états financiers et Excel pour débutants. Ce cours, qui a été offert à plusieurs fois en anglais, est très populaire et très apprécié par les participants puisquils trouvent que les informations apprises les mettent sur le bon pied dès le départ de leur entreprise. Les intéressés sont priés de sinscrire au plus tard le 25 septembre en communiquant avec Josée Ouellette du Centre daction rural de Wellington à [email protected] ou au 902-854-3439, poste 228. - FREE SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS BASICS COURSES IN FRENCH - All new and aspiring entrepreneurs who speak or understand French are invited to register free of charge for a series of online courses called Les bases du succès entrepreneurial (Successful Business Basics), which will be offered Sept. 28 to Oct. 26. Delivered in French by consultant Jacinthe Lemire from Solutions eurêka experts-conseils for the province's Rural Action Centres, the series consists of eight 90-minute sessions held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8 p.m. (except October 12, which is a statutory holiday). The course covers budgeting, cash flow, fiscal responsibility, financial statements and Excel for beginners. This course, which has been offered several times in English, is very popular and very much appreciated by participants since they find that the information learned puts them immediately on the right footing as they start their business. This f...ree workshop will be held at Mill River Resort - 9:30 am to 12 noon. The facilitators for this event will be Maureen Kerr of Cove Consulting and Carly Martin of Hawthorn House Media. The following topics will be discussed: - How to use Linkedin for Networking - How to optimize your Linkedin profile - Linkedin Etiquette - Overall Social Media Benefits - Examples of using Linkedin successfully Carly manages a number of LinkedIn pages and profiles for personal brands and business owners and will be sharing how to leverage the worlds largest business networking site to drive consistent business growth. Brianna was so happy to participate in the young millionaires program this summer and she is now the proud owner of Colorful Campfire Kits, heres her pitch........ If you like campfires as much as me and my family then you will love these kits. They have everything you need to make a very colorful and tasty campfire She has been hard at work this morning and has made up several kits, these kits include A colorful basket, mystical fire to change those campfire flames to a beautiful color, sparklers, glow in the dark sticks, marshmallows, cheesies, roasting stick, chocolate covered graham cookies and a fire starter. These kits are $18 , she also has kits with a funky cup in it for $20. She made these kits with a ton of pride and will continue to make them over the summer. Alot of days she will be set up at the end of our driveway selling these and bottled water with a hand sanitizer station, I will post when she is there. If anyone would like to buy one from her or order one please let me know or stop here on the days she will be set up, please share for her. She thanks you all in advance See more

The course covers the fundamentals to help you achieve business success: Budgeting & Planning, Cash Flow Control, Financial Statements, Tax Responsibility, and Beginner Excel.... Angela MacDonald, CPA, CMA, will teach the course online via ZOOM on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 to 10:30am, beginning June 2nd until June 30th. We were delighted to partner today with Eastern PEI Chamber of Commerce, West Prince Chamber of Commerce and the PEI Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce to host this Q&A with Kelly Hughes from the Chief Public Health Office. She fielded questions about everything from cleaning public washrooms in businesses to who is responsible for enforcing social distancing in retail stores.
