We are in the process of delivering some tables to a new local business in Welland, Allsports Simulated. They will be opening shortly. I will keep you posted and of course have pics of the tables in their new home and details. Thanks Kevin
Earlier this year I had the opportunity to work with a past customer on a new exciting addition to her home. She was looking for a smallish dining table with matching bench that would look at home in her space. We decided on some lovely Ash and a dark stain, which I admit I thought might be too dark......but she was right and it worked beautifully. Thanks again A.
I had the opportunity to work with a great local family who were doing some basement renovations. We utilized some very attractive local spalted curly maple that my brother in law put through his saw mill. Here are the results!!
Through a mutual friend I met a nice guy who wanted to surprise his better half with a work station for her home office. We decided on some awesome cherry that I had in stock and a frame of iron pipe...... this is the result. They are currently remodeling the office and I will include pics of this piece in it's new home asap!!
I was asked before Christmas if I could make a smaller replica of a table I made years ago. It needed to be about half size of the original and I tried to keep as many of the details as possible. I used some really nice local white oak and highlighted it with a narrow strip of black walnut across the top and down both ends. Everybody was happy and their living room has a new addition.
Finished up a couple of end tables this weekend. Curly, spalted maple made for stunning tops. Still time to complete a few pieces for Christmas if you have the need......just drop me a line!!! Cheers!
Rustic Creations Niagara had the opportunity to help a local customer with the renovations to her fireplace by crafting a mantle that would fit with the new design. Here is how it went!!
It has taken me a while to figure out exactly what to do with this strange shaped piece of soft maple, but I finally made a decision.......and I think it turned out extremely well. This slice of 3 tree clumps is very well patterned. It is definately a rustic looking table contrasted with the iron pipe legs and stretcher it will make a great conversation piece in someones living room.
Are you or someone you know looking for material for a special project, check these out. These ash boards have a ton of character, perfect for a unique piece of furniture. The walnut slabs are 20" wide and 8' long by 21/2" thick. An awesome choice for a stunning dining table....Text or message me for pricing.
With all the Emerald ash borer damage, this species of wood has taken a real beating. Fortunatley for guys like me it's an awesome opportunity to take advantage of some great pieces for furniture making. This table was milled from a large ash crotch and has gorgeous graining running in multilpe directions. Its a beauty!! The combination of rustic top and iron pipe legs and stretchers gives this table a unique contemporary look.
