Important PEI Trucking Update - Please Share RE: Hotel Rooms for self-isolating drivers I am very happy to announce that there is now a hotel option available ...for truck drivers that are unable to self-isolate at home for one reason or another. We have been working with PEI Emergency Measures Organization and the Department of Transportation, Infrastructure, and Energy on finding a solution for our drivers that have been self-isolating in their trucks. As a result, a hotel has been made available for truck drivers. A nominal fee of $20 per night will be billed to the driver’s company. There is no upfront cost to the driver whatsoever. If you or someone you know is in this situation, please email us at [email protected], or leave us a message at (902) 566-5563, and we will get you all the information you need to set it up. To ensure we reach all those that need it, we ask that you please share this information for us.

Do you remember? The Prince Edward Island "Malpeque" oyster won the Gold Medal in the World Oyster Competition at the World's Fair at Paris? That documents our Malpeque (pronounced "mal - peck") oyster as the best in the world. Rusty Rover Tours would love for you to come and try them! Your guide has had a previous career in the oyster industry. Thanks to oyster grower George Dowdle for his photo.
Simply visit Belfast Minimills and you will come away happy!

Rusty should print this off and hand it out to folks taking Rusty's tours.
