The human body is amazing...
Today was a stay at home on the yoga mat day. And cook/eat comfort food. Yes, that does include chocolate. But I did find a wonderful recipe. I hope you enjoy it tool. LEMONY BEAN & BARLEY SOUP 1 tablespoon olive oil... 1 onion , finely chopped 2 cloves garlic , minced 3 carrot , peeled and diced 3/4 cups pearl barley 1/2 teaspoon each dried thyme and rosemary 8 cups sodium-reduced vegetable broth 1 540 ml white beans , rinsed and drained 3 cups packed baby spinach 1 teaspoon grated lemon zest 2 tablespoons lemon juice salt and pepper 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley lemon slices NUTRITIONAL FACTS PER SERVING: about Calories250Total fat3 gCholesterol0 mgSodium550 mgTotal carbohydrate46 gFibre10 gSugars6 gProtein10 gIron3.5 mg METHOD In large saucepan, heat oil over medium heat; cook onion and garlic, stirring often, until onion has softened, about 3 minutes. Add carrots, barley, thyme and rosemary; cook, stirring, for 2 minutes. Add broth; bring to boil. Reduce heat; cover and cook until barley is tender, about 30 minutes. Add beans and spinach; cook until beans are heated through, 3 to 5 minutes. Stir in lemon zest and juice. Season with salt and pepper. (Makeahead: Can be stored in airtight container and refrigerated for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 3 months.) Divide soup among bowls; garnish with parsley and lemon slices. Missing my friends from this wonderful place. Looking forward to better days when we can practice yoga together. My afternoon walk took me past CKRC. Walking is the best way to clear my mind and be active.
Nothing like a snowy walk to get your moving.
Be aware that extreme training may do more damage to your body, long term. Exercise mindfully for long term results.

It was too brisk outside today but mind over matter I needed to get out and exercise.

My goal is to get outdoor (weather permitting) and walk. Today was another good day and with Raul accompanying me it was more fun. 10 or 60 minutes... it’s good to move.
Feeling better.... Just went for a short brisk walk to clear my head. The weather was perfect! Cool enough and warm enough as I dressed correctly. Sometime fresh air and a brisk walk can help hit to the reset button.
