Canadians from East to West are sending tributes of solidarity after such an atrocious act of carnage that has besieged the province of Nova Scotia. To the family, friends, co-workers, neighbours and all Nova Scotians we send our prayers, love and condolences. As Canadians we WILL honour their memory. Our Easter wish to All: Easter for John and I is usually filled with 4 days of our family together at the lake. Campfires, games, tons of laughter, children looking for Easter eggs, 3 large dogs, 2 frigs stuffed with food and the wonderful chaos of 15 of us crammed into every nook and cranny of our home. This year of course is so very different in our home and yours. Since some of our family live in Southern Ontario our morning was filled with hilarious videos and photos of ...their family to connect with each other from afar. I have spent time today reflecting on this unusual Easter Day. Our home this weekend is quiet and void of the usual excitement and chaos although we are absolutely counting our blessings for this Easter Sunday. Our family has front line workers, father in a retirement home, some are out of work, others are immune compromised. We are to some extent a cross section of our Country and blessed that we are all still well. I am proud our family has stayed home this Easter and continuing to quarantine, as this honours all front-line workers who have made the sacrifice to work given the danger that has besieged our world. My heart and prayers to all who are living through the tragedy that Covid 19 may have brought to your home and family members. Today upon reflection of this past month I have a deeper understanding and pride in the Canadian spirit to unite! Our front-line workers, doctors and nurses, maintenance staff, grocery store personnel, truck drivers, companies volunteering to assist with medical supplies and so many others too numerous to list. In our town of Westport, Kudrinko's Grocery store, called on volunteers to deliver groceries free of charge and I know that this offering of kindness is apparent in so many communities across our great country. I am proud of our Canadian Government at every level, regardless of party affiliation, that has chosen to not be divisive and petty during this pandemic. I am honoured to be a Canadian! You are right this is not our usual family time but there are just SO many positive and loving thoughts we can truly be thankful for today. God Bless you and your families this Easter Sunday. Betsie and Bruce didn’t even notice it was winter lol. Yes, they are Winter Warriors!!! They laughed, joked around, no chattering teeth and were up for anything, just as if we were outside on a warm summer day. If you are this amazing on a cold, icy day, your summer wedding day will be totally FUN FABULOUS Much love and thanks to you both xx.

There is only one way to describe Bruce and Betsie.."WINTER WARRIORS" as coats for them were a non-option till the end of their session. I think they look cozy and warm now though Fabulous time!!! We loved every minute xoxo

A bucket full of sweetness Owen blessed me with for his One Year Birthday Session! He was so full of joy and smiles. To say he loved his cake...well the pics say it all lol.
