It’s important to clean and treat your RVs roof membrane as it is susceptible to the harsh rays of the sun and to airborne contaminates. These elements can cause severe damage over time. Regular cleaning and scheduled maintenance will protect your rubber roof and prevent unnecessary work. Clean and inspect the roof on a regular basis to avoid damage and costly repai...rs. Start by cleaning your roof with a good wash brush and some dish detergent. Do in sections working your way to your ladder and rinse well while you proceed. Then wash your roof again with rubber roof cleaner to remove chalking. Let completely dry and then apply rubber roof treatment to the roof with a sponge to seal and protect it from the elements. Products we recommend are Dicor or Protect All roof cleaners & treatments. Apply dicor roof sealant (caulking gun required) to any areas where there are gaps or cracks. This roof cleaning maintenance is always best to do in the fall so your RV is ready for the harsh winter and protecting your rv and wallet from costly repairs.
