Catch "I am Greta" as part of NorthwestFest on Friday, November 6 at 6:45 PM at The Metro Cinema. It's the story of teenage climate activist Greta Thunberg tol...d through compelling, never-before-seen footage in this intimate documentary. Swedish director Nathan Grossman follows Gretta by starting with her one-person school strike for climate action outside the Swedish Parliament. Grossman follows Gretaa shy student with Asperger’sin her rise to prominence and her galvanizing global impact as she sparks school strikes around the world. The film culminates with her extraordinary wind-powered voyage across the Atlantic Ocean to speak at the UN Climate Action Summit in New York City. A TIFF 2020 World Premiere. See more
